It is the mission of the Church to help us reach Theosis, which is to be in communion with God. To accomplish this in a Sunday School setting, we use five instructional components to help explore Faith and bring children closer to God:
1. Prayers & Hymns
2. Scriptures & Icons
3. Holy Traditions
4. Sacraments
5. Saints & Church Fathers
We pray you will support your child in their journey toward salvation by bringing them to the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am and allowing them to sit with their classmates on the front left side of the church. As usual, they will be dismissed immediately following Communion.
We take our role as educators of the Faith seriously and will take attendance and acknowledge your child’s presence at graduation in May.
The 2024/25 Sunday School year will begin on Sunday, September 15, 2024. You can enroll your child electronically or in person beginning Sunday, August 25.
We have an exciting and enjoyable school year planned for our children and pray you’ll encourage them to participate!
The James and Mary Pechewlys Philoptochos Scholarship for $1,000 is accepting applications for the 2024/25 college year. Applications must be received in the Church office by June 1, 2024.
